Material Notes:

IG58 is a high-density polyethylene, narrow molecular weight butene-1 copolymer produced by the solution process for injection molding applications. It offers high stiffness, impact strength and output (fast cycle). Its applications include: thin-wall articles, housewares, ice cream packaging, and food and general purpose containers. IG58 has been developed for injection molding under conditions comparable to high-density polyethylene with a similar melt flow index. Recommended temperature profile: 160 to 230ºC.
