Material Notes:
PCD 0140BR is a low melt flow rate heterophasic copolymer with high impact resistance. This resin was developed for steel pipe coating extrusion. PCD 0140BR is highly protected against thermal aging, designed for continuous use at high temperatures, and UV stabilized. Its applications include: external three layer extruded polypropylene (topcoating) based coatings for corrosion protection of welded and seamless steel pipes (3LPP); and topcoating and undercoating in thermal insulation coating of steel pipes.
