Data provided by DuPont Packaging Polymers.Melinex® 800C is a clear, one side corona treated polyester film suitable for flexible packaging, printing and laminations. Melinex® 800C is a polyester film that is compliant with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations under 21 CFR 177.1630, Sections (f), (g), and (h). These sections cover the use of PET in contact with all types of foods (excluding alcoholic beverages) at temperatures up to and above 250°F (including oven baking or cooking) and alcoholic beverages (not to exceed 50 percent by alcohol by volume) at ambient temperatures.
