Shell announced in Feb. 2000 that the Carilon product line is being discontinued. CARILON® Thermoplastic Polymer DP R1000 is a high flow developmental engineering polyketone resin from Shell Chemical Company. Due to its balance of stiffness, toughness, chemical resistance, and easy processing, CARILON Polymer DP R1000 is expected to find application in the appliance, automotive, electrical, and other industries. This high flow, low viscosity polymer should be considered for moldings with long flow paths or thin walls.Data provided by Shell Chemical.
