Soluble in most polar and aromatic solvents.Applications: Agrochemical formulation : Low HLB, emulsifier. Surfactant of choice for biodegradable and low toxicity EC formulation. Fabric and Home Care : Emulsifier. Metal treatment : Nonionic emulsifier for metal working formulations with a HLB of 9.7. Recommended for cutting fluids used in aluminum machining.
