This monomer is useful for importing latex stability and emulsion copolymer adhesion. It is particularly effective when used as a replacement for other carboxylic acid monomers. While these monomers tend to harden copolymers, Sipomer ß-CEA does not.Information provided by Rhodia, Rhodia has been acquired by Solvay.
