PC (Porosity Controlled) Series™ Papers perform the following critical functions in all types of pyrotechnic automotive airbag inflator filters: (1) Provide efficient filtration of effluent gas by removing particulate matter through condensation and adhesion and mechanical entrapment. (2) Through the removal of high heat capacity particulate matter, these aluminosilicate filtration media significantly cool the gas stream before it enters the bag.
