Material Notes:

Westlake EB591 resin is a 9% EVA copolymer designed for films that require excellent toughness and good heat sealing characteristics. This Kosher compliant resin has excellent low temperature brittleness properties. Its applications include: frozen food packaging, fresh food packaging, ice bags, heavy duty produce bags, foam, and tubing. This resin grade complies with 21 CFR 177.1350. Melt temperatures of 380° F – 410° F are recommended for Westlake Chemical EB591. Test specimens for blown film: nominal thickness 1.5 mils; blow up ratio 2.5:1.
