Inorganic binder system for sand-core production.AWB is an environmentally harmless and odorless binder system based on sodium silicate. The cores are hardened by de-hydration in a microwave oven. After de-coring at the end of the casting process, the remaining binder-content can be reactivated by adding water. Applications: For steel-, iron-, aluminum- and other non-ferrous foundries
