Material Notes:
Mylar® RSX951 is a silicone coated polyester film designed for use as a release liner in various casting applications. The silicone release coating is applied to the film during the film production process, providing excellent adhesion of the coating to the polyester film for improved liner performance.Mylar® RSX951 has balanced tensile properties and good dimensional stability. Release values typically range between 15 and 25 grams per inch when tested with aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesives. It is recommended that the liner be tested in each application to verify the absolute value of the release strength.Information provided by DuPont.
