Material Notes:

ALUTIT®, which is produced in a special reaction-sintering process, consists of high-purity aluminum oxide and titanium oxide. It offers excellent resistance to sudden changes in temperature, good heat insulation, low thermal expansion, and good chemical resistance. Typical applications are found in the nonferrous metals casting industry. ALUTIT® S is optimized for strength and is used mainly in riser tubes.
