Mallard Creek Polymers ROVENE® 6140 SBR Latex

ROVENE® 6140 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a very soft and resilient hand that can be used for upholstery backcoating to produce fabrics showing high seam strengths. Due to its styrene content and molecular weight it has found applications in mastics and pressure sensitive adhesives.APPLICATIONS: ROVENE® 6140 is recommended for non-woven and textile applications that require a soft and strong coating. A common application would be the froth backcoatings of upholstery fabrics to obtain high seam strength. ROVENE® 6140 has also been used in carpet and floor tile adhesives and mastics where high tack is needed.
