Material Notes:

SARAN® 867 barrier polymer, a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride, designed for extrusion and coextrusion into barrier films used in flexible packaging applications for food. It is supplied as a white free flowing powder (particle size 210-290 microns). It offers good oxygen barrier, excellent moisture barrier, and complies with the requirements of FDA for use as a component of articles in contact with food.Data provided by Dow Chemical.
