Tra-Con Tra-Cast F311 Optically Transparent Semi-Flexible Casting System

TRA-CAST F311 is a clear, low viscosity epoxy formulation developed for molding, embedding, casting and potting applications where clarity, toughness, long pot-life and superior impact properties are required. It is readily mixed and handled at room temperature, exhibits low shrinkage, and develops strong bonds to most fiber optic, photonic, aerospace and electronic industry materials including glass and glass fibers, ceramics, metals, plastic laminates, and other rigid plastic products. Fully cured TRA-CAST F311 is a clear, almost transparent, semi-flexible electrical insulator with good mechanical impact and shock resistant properties. It is resistant to water, weather, gases, petroleum solvents, fuels and lubricants, salts and salt solutions, mild acids and alkalis, and many other organic and inorganic materials.
