Material Notes:
This polyurethane casting material is developed for applications that require Shore OO 40 range casting material with vibration dampening property and higher strength than standard polyurethane gel material. The low tack surface of this material is also useful for application that does not use film/fabric encapsulation. At the elevated temperature, the component materials have lower viscosity for better flow in the mold for good resolution to reproduce fine mold surface or making thinner film/sheet material. Processing this material requires elevated temperature process and constant agitation of part-B component. This material contains plasticizer. Plasticizer in general leaches out in a long term use of the product. This material is not recommended for applications that require cast-in encapsulation into plastic film material.Information provided by Northstar Polymers.
