This polymer is miscible with polypropylenes due to its similar molecular structure. In bends with polyethylenes it is immiscible but easily dispersible. It is mainly used as a concentrate carrier and in hot adhesives where service temperatures, high strength and/or long open time are required. This copolymer meets FDA requirements for direct food contact under regulation 21 CFR 177.1570.Information provided by Montell Polyolefins.LyondellBasell is the successor company to Montell.
